The main presenter in this Unitarian Universalist worship service, Susan will read from her books Love Letters and Between the Doors and reflect on her recent conversion to--or as she prefers to put it, convergence with--Judaism. The 11 AM service will be followed by an optional Writing Circle, an experience of writing and listening in community, led by Susan and inspired by poetry selected for the moment.

American Choral Directors Association 2010 Conference	Feb 13, 2010 8 PM	Consitituion Center	Philadelphia, PA
Susan will be part of the closing ceremonies at American Choral Directors Association, 2010 Eastern Division Conference. She will do a spoken performance of her poem “Into the Blue,” preceding the performance by the choir Singing City. The poem was commissioned last year by the Rainbow Chorale of Delaware and set to music by composer Andrea Clearfield for full chorus, vibraphone and piano. The event is not open to the public.

Susan's poem "Into the Blue" was commissioned by the Rainbow Chorale of Delaware and set to music by composer Andrea Clearfield to commemorate the choir's tenth anniversary season. It will be performed tonight, with full choir, piano, flute, and vibraphone. Susan will speak the poem before the choir sings.
